In my experience, karma is very real, but it doesn’t happen on the timeframe you want. When it does, it will in ways you didn’t expect.

In my experience, karma is very real, but it doesn’t happen on the timeframe you want to happen, and it happens in ways you would not necessarily expect.

But it is often even better than you’d hope for.

I think karma is just your own actions. You do good things, and good things tend to come back to you – because you’ve surrounded yourself with good actions. Do bad things, and vice versa happens.

In my case, my ex wife left and had a great life. She’s beautiful and smart and seemed to have the world at her beck and call, while I had to fight and struggle to get some kind of life back.

A decade and a half later, I was married to a great woman, had kids, and had my life sorted and had put all that mostly in the rear view mirror. My wife and our friends went to a fancy dress up dinner thing. We’re hanging out, having fun, and I notice off in the distance, my ex wife. She’s still beautiful in her early 40’s, but she’s stuffed into a cocktail dress two sizes too small, highlighting her out-of-shape aging body. She’s with a 20-something woman, also in a tiny cocktail dress, and they’re obviously looking for men.

Now, this event was very much not a pick up joint, and they’re sticking out like a sore thumb. She especially looks ridiculous, and quite desperate in fact.

And I leaned back in my chair, put my arm around my beautiful wife, and looked around at all the friends that surrounded us… and laughed my ass off.

Karma works. It just doesn’t work the way you think. You may never know how it works. And it may take it’s own sweet time…

Actions have consequences. Live a good life and good things will come to you. Lie, betray, and abuse and all of that will come back to you.
